Who is Khalfani… Now?

“ This is the question my mindfulness practice helps me daily answer with confidence. At times, I feel like I’m loosing that most essential part of me to my responsibilities. And, as my practice grows, so my insight into the “NOW” grows. I want to approach my experience of the “NOW” with an attitude of teacher/student; in an intentional manner, focus on sustaining a constant self constitution resembling a student (ready with the spirit of curioisty for knowledge of self. I strive to be in a state of arrival…while also resembling a teacher ( ready to share knowlegde and wisdom), in a secure state of mind/body/observer. My practice helped and helps me find my deepest self which I’ve named the “observer” or the “NOW.”

KHALFANI is…

…a wellness practitioner

and Los Angeles resident with over 15yrs. experience in various holistic wellness modalities. Guided Mindfulness meditation is his passion.

The son of preacher man, Khalfani’s life began in service to the spiritual minded communities of the United States. He is a Guided Mindfulness meditation facilitator, a certified Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapist, certified Mindfulness Based Cognitive Life Coach, Mindfulness meditation facilitator with InsightLA, Vibrational/Sound Healer instruments of Tuning forks and Tuning bowls, Vocal sound healer/coach, Ordained minister, Motivational Speaker. He now travels to conferences, schools and corporations as a Guided Mindfulness facilitator and public speaker sharing his passion for meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction.

After retiring from a career as a touring recording artist, Khalfani found that the lack of music and human engagement in his life left a empty sensation where once a feeling of wholeness was abound. As a child he was encouraged by his parents to seek an understanding of logic, body systems, and the many spiritual practices of the planet. So, when music was removed in a major way from his day to to life finding the same fulfilment in the meditation practices of Asia, Africa and the Americas was quite natural.

He found the methods from every human culture seamlessly incorporated music and the listening/vibratory arts which for him brought more meaning to his musicianship while also offering the silence as an expansive and fortifying aspect of vibration. “I could feel there in the silence a most obvious and essential component of my existence. I found that even in my perceived silence I was actually witnessing the universe always in some form of vibration. It was this constant vibration within and out that hooked me and supported my mindfulness meditation practice. I realized that via a weekly and consistent mindfulness meditation practice, I could achieve states of being that accomplished even my need to be filled with music. And, I came to the realization that via mindfulness anyone could in many ways support whatever they desired to have filled in themselves. I had to learn more, and on the journey of learning more I became aware of the work I could do toward assisting the human family in acquiring a most essential medicine for the mind/body systems.”
